Neither of them accepted my debate challenge. If these seasoned politicians are confident of their records, why are they avoiding tough questions asked publicly? Do they care about being transparent? Do they care about voters?
Amazing that Huntington Beach is fighting for its citizens and now appealing the the US Supreme Court!
Today, our Board of Supervisors refuse to spend a dime to defend the 10k voters who signed to support Measure B forcing the people to raise money to defend it. Time for some accountability at the ballot box on June 2. Crye's "votes" of dissention regarding the current Measure B lawsuit are only damage control as he's NEVER supported the local charter amendment.
The association would not allow me to audio record any interview with them. They said recording would stifle being "candid and open". I suggested to them that any candidate for public office should also expect to be "public and transparent". This tells me this association is only wanting to make private room deals with candidates.
In 2025, while Kevin and I were speaking about election reform, he offered me a position on a possible Sheriff oversight committee I believe to get me to back off of my election activities.
3/6/26: CA Court of Appeals directed Judge Hannah to rehear the case. He lifted the TRO but then called for another court date on 3/25/26 where the possibility still exists to keep the Measure off the June ballot.
On 2/26/26: a judge rules that the County shall cease any efforts to put Measure B on the June ballot. This is directly due to the County Board voting to NOT issue a defense against the lawsuit! The judge basically "defaulted" to the Plaintiff because none of what she alleged was challenged!! Kevin voted against the other Board members, but he has many previous votes and actions that prove he does NOT want the local Measure to continue. The will of over 10,000 petition signers was silenced by one anonymous litigant and one corrupt judge. Listen to a radio interview in the "media" tab.
See recent post under the "media" tab above. Over 10,000 voters signed the petition and the Board is defying the will of the people!
I am equally critical of Erin Resner, as her time in office has resulted in many bad decisions and she would likely bring similar judgement to the County.
He has constantly and as recently as Feb. 20, 2026, reduced and restricted the public's access and time to address the Board at public meetings.
